The hunting consists of spot and stalk or ambush hunting from blinds. Hunters should be comfortable at shots from 200 to 400 yards. Our private land and public land rifle elk hunts offer opportunities at 300+ trophy bulls with 350+ bulls a possibility. Accommodations will be in houses or cabins, not wall tents. This ranch is excellent for early-season rut hunts but also a great late-season wintering area for Bulls that get pushed down off the National Forest from winter cold and snow.Īll of our private ranch hunts are fully guided which includes meals, lodging, and guiding. We can hunt from October 1st - January 31st and hunters can choose any five consecutive days within that time frame. Rifle season on the ranch is longer than most private ranches in the state.
GUIDED ELK HUNTS WINDOWS
We will book six-day windows throughout September. The archery hunts on the ranch are also from September 1-24. Shooter Bulls will average 280-320 with the potential of seeing much larger animals. Like our unit 12 ranches, the unit 34 ranch will also have very high-quality bulls throughout the hunting season. Our Unit 34 ranch is situated next to the Lincoln National Forest which has an abundance of elk.
